Real-Life Incident

Gizmo
Thought I would share this photo of Gizmo and her Paws Aboard life vest. Last summer, it came in very handy when her collar gave way and she jumped out of our moving boat. Another boater behind us grabbed her by the vest handle and brought her safely back to us.

We love (our babies') Paws Aboard Dog Life Jackets. They are not only a safety for your baby but they are so cute!
We had so many people commenting on how adorable they were. A real attention getter at the lake and on the boat. The boys had to have the blue with white polka dots and our princess had to have the pink with white polka dots.......so adorable!!!

A New Use for Paws Aboard Life Jackets

Hi,
I recently purchased a Paws Aboard life jacket to use when I take my dog, Riley, on the boat.
Riley was neutered a week ago, and has to wear a cone around his neck..supposed to wear it for 2 weeks. I received the life jacket on Monday, and discovered that with the jacket on he cannot reach his surgery area.
I haven't taken the life jacket off since. He doesn't mind wearing it day and night. Best of all...that dreaded cone is a thing of the past.
Thanks!

[While this solution worked for Riley, Paws Aboard does not recommend disregarding the advise of your veterinarian.]

Leven overboard!

My Wife and I thought we'd like to take a slow easy canoe trip down the Root River in Minnesota, and we thought we'd try taking one of our dogs along, Leven.  Nancy, my wife, wanted the dog to have a life jacket, and I wondered why we needed a life jacket for a dog that could swim, but we bought the life jacket, (wife wins again!).  Well, we where drifting by some cows, in a deeper part of the river, and Leven thought he'd get a closer look at some cows as we drifted by, so he jumped out of the boat!  Thanks to the handle on the back of that life jacket, I was able to pluck him for the water quickly and easily.  Had it not been for that handle, I think we may have tipped the canoe if I had to go in after him, or try to get him out of the water pulling him by the collar or back of neck.

Thanks for the great design of these life jackets!

Swimming Bulldog!

Hi,
Here’s a pic of my Bulldog, Shirley. She LOVES to swim, but Bulldogs sink! So your life jacket is perfect for her!

Thanks!
